Amanoi’s Mid-Autumn festivities highlight environmental consciousness with proceeds supporting endangered species.
In the spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Amanoi Resort has unveiled a unique collaboration with GreenViet Biodiversity Conservation Center aimed at protecting the diverse ecosystems of Nui Chua National Park. This initiative is part of a broader effort to intertwine cultural festivities with environmental stewardship.
This year’s celebration at Amanoi is not just about lanterns and mooncakes but also about contributing to the conservation of the local wildlife. The resort has introduced a special collection of mooncakes, with packaging that features six symbolic animals from the region’s land and sea ecosystems. Each purchase of these mooncakes will see all profits donated to GreenViet, aiding their efforts in wildlife research and protection.
From September 14 to 18, Amanoi Resort has curated a series of family-oriented activities that blend cultural enrichment with fun. Guests can partake in lantern-making workshops, pottery classes, and exploratory treks through Nui Chua National Park. Culinary events will feature prominently, with a beachside BBQ, a local market-style buffet, and a Cham cuisine dinner, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
Joy Arpornrat Kuekthong, general manager of Amanoi, emphasized the resort’s dedication to sustainable practices. “Our partnership with GreenViet is a testament to our commitment to preserving the natural beauty and biodiversity of Nui Chua National Park for future generations,” she stated.
The festival is not only a celebration but also an educational platform, raising awareness about the critical need to protect such unique biodiversity against the backdrop of global environmental challenges.
Nui Chua National Park serves as a vivid reminder of Vietnam’s natural heritage, with its dry forests, coastal dunes, and vibrant coral reefs. Recognized by UNESCO, the park is a sanctuary for a wide array of species, many of which are highlighted during the festival to encourage conservation efforts.
Amanoi’s luxurious setting offers an immersive experience that allows guests to connect with nature while enjoying the comforts of high-end hospitality. This initiative is a blend of luxury and conservation, providing a meaningful celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival that promises to leave a lasting impact.
