The MICHELIN Guide Thailand 2025 unveils a record-breaking restaurant selection, highlighting Thailand’s rich and diverse gastronomic landscape with its first Three MICHELIN Star recipient.

Thailand’s food scene has officially claimed its place on the global stage. For the first time ever, a Thai restaurant has been awarded the prestigious Three MICHELIN Stars, marking a historic milestone for the country’s culinary world. The announcement was made during the MICHELIN Guide Ceremony Thailand 2025, revealing the highly anticipated MICHELIN Guide Thailand 2025 edition with an expanded and diverse selection of top-tier dining establishments.

Sorn: Thailand’s First Three MICHELIN Star Restaurant

Leading the spotlight is Sorn, a restaurant dedicated to elevating Southern Thai cuisine. Known for its delicate balance of tradition and innovation, Sorn has steadily climbed the MICHELIN ranks since its debut in the 2019 MICHELIN Guide Thailand, where it first earned One MICHELIN Star. It was later promoted to Two MICHELIN Stars and has now achieved the ultimate honour of Three MICHELIN Stars in the 2025 edition.

At Sorn, every dish tells a story, blending perfectly paced menus with bold, exhilarating flavours. This achievement not only recognises the restaurant’s unwavering commitment to quality and consistency but also places Thai cuisine firmly on the global fine-dining map. Sorn is no longer just a restaurant—it’s now a destination in itself.
